I Post Kiddie Porn!

Okay, this is serious, really. I was messing around with my Flickr account and looking at which of my photos are most popular. Man, people are fucked up!

This pictures (sans-big-black-X) has been viewed 240 times:

Usually my photographs are each viewed between 8 and 14 times, not 240. The rest of the photos on the most viewed list were similar - naked baby butts, kids in the bath, one of a seven-year-old friend of ours at the beach in her bathing suit. YUCK!

I immediately screened and changed the permissions on all of my photos that could even remotely be considered kiddie-porn-ish, but I thought you all should know about this. I know I'm not the only naive person thinking that putting cute pictures of my children online is harmless.

240 times. She's two for Christ's sake!

Yeah, flickr scares me a bit. My pictures of Sam are friends-only unless I am in the picture too. My most popular flickr photos? The ones from National Shoe Blogging Month. Yup - the shoe fetishists love me.

i got some of those pervs too on my flickr account. I changed all my nude boys pics to friends and family. mine were all shots of my boys in the bathtub or just in diapers...I was so disgusted when you go to look at who favorited your pics and then you see all their favorites are kids nude or in diapers. yucko-there are some sickos out there.

I learned my lesson early. I used to post on a message board, we had all had babies the same month/year and regularly posted pics etc. Well, there was this freak who would IM those that had their info in their sigs. "She" wanted moms to describe, step by step how they change their childs diaper.

We also further found out that there are whole communities of child stalkers that collect "signature" pictures for their freakshows and post them in their little communities.

That would be why I rarely post pics of my girls, and when I DO, they are clothed. I also use a photobucket account and can select who can see those pics.

Sorry you have to deal with that. It is gross.

I know, it's yucky. I just found out that my most "popular" flickr photo was one of my son without his shirt on. People are freaks. But I figure more people see him shirtless when he's in the yard playing in the sprinkler or out at the pool so I guess I can't worry about it too much. Still, it's yucky.

There are some sick people out their. It really stinks that you can't even post an innocent picture without worrying what perverts are thinking. Creepy.

That is so disturbing!

I am just appalled. Innocence is certainly lost on the internet.
This just makes me feel sad.

It is just sick! I'm a youth sports photographer and the photos on my web site that get the most hits are cheerleaders, gymnasts, divers and boy swimmers standing on the awards stand wearing speedos. There are a lot of pervs out there looking for crotch shots of adolescents. I have to password protect all that stuff now which is a pain because I don't sell as many pictures because people don't know the password.
