Princess Dress-Ups and 25 Years Worth of Legos

My mom gave me all of my brothers' Legos last week. So here are the girls, in fairy princess costumes playing with their three uncles' twenty-five year old collection of Legos. When the picture was taken they were making Jar-Jar, Jar-Jar (yes there are two), Darth Vader and R2D2 fight a dragon. With pirate swords and light sabers. On the Pirate Ship. That had wheels.

I think Matilda's shoes are the best part. Those are some serious Lego shoes. (But not shoes made of Lego. I should try that.)

I loved legos as a child. (I wonder if mine are still stored away at my mothers?)

Is that tub full of legos? Oh the fun they will have!!!!

Oh my gosh! Are those the original Star Wars legos?

I'm so jealous!

Don't let George Lucas read this. Next thing you know, we'll get:

"Star Wars: The Return of Jar-Jar at World's End."

(although if it had Johnny Depp in it, I'd forgive him).

I love that you let them be everything they want to be.
